Rick serves as Senior Project Development Manager at Diode Ventures. He is responsible for developing solar energy generation and battery energy storage projects nationwide. Rick has developed utility scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects throughout the US for an array of companies including Enel, Liberty Utilities, Invenergy, as well as distributed generation projects for the nonprofit Black Rock Solar. Prior to those experiences, Rick was the founder and owner of the Clean Energy Center in Reno, Nevada, a renewable energy development and construction company.  Renewable energy is Rick’s second career. Rick has also worked as a class V river guide and for 25 years he was a critical care flight paramedic.
